Hello and welcome to the pylon website. Hope you like the new design, big thanks go out to Kev charlton. There has a few new pics of us been added, most of which were taken on tour in various locations last year.
As far as news goes we have a couple of gigs lined up at the end of this month...
Wed 26th Feb in Middlesboro (venue details tbc) w/The Pale Four from Germany
Fri 28th Feb in Leeds(The Fenton) w/The Pale Four plus Dugong (Wakefield) and Mavis (Sunderland)
At present we are writing new material for a full length album which we hope to complete by the end of the year. Which year who knows? but we are getting there and have around five songs nearly ready for recording so everything is on track...As always, if anyone wants to put us on in their town please get in touch via e-mail and we'll endeavour to sort spmething out. We still have some t-shirts left too, again e-mail for info...On a personal level we've all been pretty busy working and playing hard as usual. For info on our Wakefield collective 'For the love of the game', please visit the website for updates on forthcoming gigs and events. Dave Carny who used to own 'Players', now has part control of 'The Wakefield Arms' pub so we hope to have an all dayer there some time in May hopefully. some kind of 'Players' reunion with all the bands that used to be regulars there. Also we have 'The Unknown' (USA), 'Dugong' and 'The Cribs' (Wakefield) on at 'The Jockey' in Wakefield on the 10th of April which should be a great night too.
Thats about it for now, happy easter'n'that and keep on trucking! Laters, Chris.
